It is STRIVE’s mission to share first-person stories of leadership and innovation that will serve to illuminate a path forward for the reader. It is our belief that the world has become too complex for any individual, organization or government to address today’s challenges on their own and that we must share thought-leadership and strategies across a broad network to navigate a positive path forward.
Magazine Parameters:
Audience: Leader-to-leader
Article metrics: STRIVE articles are centric to innovation, with a nod to being a change-agent in some fashion. Ideally, we are looking for a topic with national and/or global appeal. Most important is that the article have an association with the unexpected or a reveal that is thought-provoking, solution-oriented or sparks the imagination for forward-thinking leaders. All articles must be original content and previously unpublished.
Voice: All STRIVE Magazine articles must be written in first person to capture the author’s individual perspective.
Deadline: STRIVE Magazine is a quarterly leadership publication, produced in January, April, July and October. Material deadlines for authors are generally 45-days in advance of publication. Specific deadlines will be provided to accepted authors.
Article template: A relevant title/headline. Additionally, subheads that readily break-up sections would be ideal.
Length: 800 – 1,500 words max
Photos: 2 – 3 hi-rez images. Min. 450 mp. each. If you aren’t able to provide images, just let us know and we will source something suitable!
Video: Adding video to an article within the digital version of STRIVE Magazine greatly enhances the reader’s engagement. Relative video, provided by the author, 1-3 minutes in length, may be considered for select articles at the discretion of the editor and publisher. Portions of speaking engagements related to the topic may also be submitted for consideration.
Author Bio/Head Shot: A 75-word bio and a head shot must accompany the article. The bio must be included at the end of the article, not as a separate attachment. The head shot should be a separate attachment.
Social Media: All articles must include at least one social media URL pasted into the article after the bio. Multiple social media URLs for the author is preferred. This may include any combination of LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube.
Other: Authors receive no compensation for contributed articles.
